- Some of the film aboard the Titanic included in this documentary was said to have been filmed by Daniel Marvin for the American Mutoscope & Biograph Company, who was the son of Henry Marvin, co-founder of that company. Before Marvin perished in the Titanic sinking, the film was returned on a lifeboat to New York. Some of the film was lost, and some still exists and is property of American Mutoscope and Biograph Company today.

- Biograph cameraman Arthur Marvin was the brother of Henry Marvin (Biograph's Co-Founder) and Uncle to Daniel Marvin who perished in the sinking of the Titanic.

- The documentary has film clips taken by the British Mutoscope and Biograph Company on Titanic's launching.

- Daniel and Mary Marvin were supposed to travel back from England to New York on the steamship Carpathia. However, their family friend Captain E. J. Smith invited them to travel back with him to the USA as his guests on the maiden voyage of the RMS Titanic.
