Trivia of Once in a Blue Moon

- The original script was written by Nick Latrenta for a Visual Story Class at Ramapo College. When When Nick Latrenta decided to produce the script, his friend Sean Ryan (music composer and actor who played the "Businessman") offered the use of his apartment. Sean has a collection of swords, one with a wolf's head. Nick liked the swords so much that he rewrote the script to include them.

- There were no acting rehearsals for the film. Nick likes to work off the cuff and only discussed the scenes with his actors prior to filming. Much of the acting was improvised.

- No actors auditioned for this film. Nick is good friends with each cast member and was well aware of their talents and simply asked them to be involved.

- Jessica Alvarez and Nick Latrenta went to high school together. He held the lead in the fall dramas while she had the lead in the spring musicals (Jessica played volleyball in the fall and Nick isn't a singer). Despite being in the same shows for four years, Nick and Jessica never had a full blown, dramatic scene together. After losing touch for several years, Nick wrote this part with Jessica in mind so they could finally show off their talents at the same Full Trivia >>
