- Actor Ahney Her received the role of Nikki after several freak conflicts. She actually took a screen test for Director Sam Borowski and Producers Samuel M. Sherman and Larry Delrose, who were all blown away by her performance.

- The film uses humor and a "dose of reality" according to Director Sam Borowski, to deal with some serious issues such as Dimentia, Alzheimer's and the plight of the elderly. Borowski's mother, Joan Borowski, whom he credits with getting him interested in film and movies, suffers from Alzheimer's.
