- Director Carlos Bolado appear in one scene of the film as a homage of "Bajo California: The Limit of time" who directed in 1998.- The main character's name "Juan" was named in honor of documentary filmmaker 'Juan Carlos Rulfo' (qv), who co distributed the documentary _In the Pit (2006/I)_ with 'Octavio Maya (I)' (qv).
- During the creation of the screenplay, 'Octavio Maya (I)' (qv) was looking for a round pendant to give the idea of cyclic, a message that is present all along the story.
