- At age 17 met 'John Lennon (I)' (qv) while he and 'Yoko Ono (I)' (qv) were in Philadelphia co-hosting The Mike Douglas Show. Lennon and Fash maintained a business and personal friendship until Lennon's murder in 1980.
- Is the great, great, grandson of German Baroque and Classical composer Johann Friedrich Fasch. The "c" was dropped from the Fash name upon his grandfather's immigration to America from Leipzig, Germany.
- Wears a Gold Hindu "Ohm" tie tack personally given to him by ex Beatle, 'George Harrison' (qv) , during the "Anthology" compilation.
- Actor 'Jeremy Lichterman' (qv) is his oldest son.
